The Stanford Park Hotel

We began our collaboration with The Stanford Park Hotel in late 2018 and worked with them over the next two years to update their branding, website, and collateral. The storied hotel is positioned at the heart of Silicon Valley, and strategically blends old and new to create a charming escape for its loyal guests.

We worked in the spirit of East Coast meets West Coast, Ivy League meets Silicon Valley—typography, colors, textures, and marks were established accordingly. Illustrator, Casey Stanberry, created vignettes of favorite scenes from around the hotel grounds and re-drew the property’s signature palm tree.

Little did we know that this project would become an exercise in pivoting. Not long after finalizing designs for the print collateral Covid 19 shut down the world. When The Stanford Park re-opened we worked with the hotel’s team to transition many of the printed, in-room materials to digital experiences.
